This was my first trip with Father's World Tours. I thoroughly enjoyed it! Everything was well planned with an excellent variety of activities which matched my interests. Steve and his crew were very kind and helpful. Communication was great, making sure that we were well informed and prepared for the upcoming events. It is difficult to choose a favorite event because they were all so interesting. With my lifelong interest in horses, I would say that visiting Old Friends Stables is my favorite memory. I loved getting up close to several of the horses, feeding them carrots, seeing them interact with us and hearing about their life story. Another favorite was exploring Ark Encounter. There were so many interesting things to learn.
We were blessed with beautiful weather, Christian fellowship and daily devotions. It was fun to reconnect with acquaintances and to make new friends. It was a blessing to worship with and to hear about ministry in congregations in Kentucky
The planned meals provided a nice variety of venues and menus. Having plentiful breakfast options at the hotels were a great way to start our day. The evening "mini-meal" at Staybridge was more like a snack, and with my gluten sensitivity the options were very limited. I did bring a few things along with me, so I did have enough those evenings. The Drury Inn mini-meals were very substantial and had options that fit my preferences. At Drury Inn and the other restaurants I was able to find options in which I could avoid gluten, which is usually the case for me.
I'm looking forward to another opportunity to travel with Father's World tours. I recommend to others that they consider being part of Steve's tours and enjoy all that he and his team's planning and guidance have to offer.
