Spring Training in Arizona

It was very much fun going to the games, seeing the sites, and eating at the interesting g restaurants. 

The trip was awesome! The transportation process was very smooth and enjoyable, and once we got to the theater, everything was all set. There were no hiccups at all, and the show was fantastic!

Loved it! Discounted tickets were lovely and the show was a truly great experience.

We had a wonderful time at Les Miserables. Everything was very organized, we had great seats, and it was really nice to be able to ride the bus instead of having to drive and find parking. We would definitely do it again!

Seeing Les Miserable with Father’s World Tours was amazing! I did not ride the bus, but met Steve at the “will call” window. He had my ticket ready & waiting! Walked in and saw the play, which was wonderful. The price was extremely reasonable. Would love to join another Father’s World tour again!

California Cruisin'

We had a wonderful time on our California Cruisin’ trip with Steve Balza. Everything was well-planned for a fun-filled two weeks as we made new friends and renewed acquaintances. We enjoyed beautiful scenery, historic sites and adventures during our cruise excursions in Mexico. The devotions and services provided spiritual nourishment each day. 

We had a fantastic time. Traveling with Christian friends is a blessing!  Steve does a great job arranging as many experiences as possible on the itinerary. 

We loved this trip we had so many amazing experiences we would not have been able to do on our own! We also traveled with a wonderful group of people! Can’t wait to book another trip.

California Cruisin' Trip from 12/31/25 - 1/13/26 was wonderful. From the Tournament of Roses Parade, The Reagan Library, Cruising the Mexican Riviera, & then visiting Palm Springs after the cruise, the whole trip was amazing!

This was our 5th trip with Father's World Tours. Steve does a fantastic job with planning everything. Plan A and Plan G ... God's plan when necessary are always great. CA and the Mexican Riviera are beautiful, the people on the tour awesome and the devotions relavent and uplifting. Thanks everyone!

Highly recommend Father's World Tours. 

Princess was not as good as the first one that Cheri and I went on.   Missed Getty Center because of late arrival in LA (Sun Country).    Rose parade was "rained on".  That would have been an incredible day if it was sunny out.    Floatfest was pretty cool.   RR library was great.   Would have liked more time at Santa Monica Pier.  Didn't care for the Nethercut Museum, but I'm not into cars.  Devotions and church services were great.   (Thanks for offering communion.)  La Jolla Cove was a good choice.  All things San Diego were great.   I got so close to one of my bucket list items (San Diego Zoo).   My favorite day - Sunday the 11th.   Church, touring California LHS, and Somerset Winery.   My second favorite day, the 12th.   Canyon trail and aerial tram were awesome.   Missing Joshua Tree was a bummer, but that's on the gov't for changing the rules.   Of the five tours I've taken with you, this was my least favorite, but that's because I wasn't up to par for eight of the 14 days.  That's on me, not on you.   

This was my first trip with.this tour group and I must say it was a huge success! We did so many memorable things together and have gained so many more new friends along the way, great Christian friends!!
Steve did an incredible job, as did Carol and Wayne. Thank each and every one of you for putting it together so beautifully for us all!

The trip was fantastic. There was plenty to do and we traveled with wonderful people. Steve did a great job organizing everything!

The trip to California and the cruise to Mexico was fantastic, we have been on several of the Father's World Tours and they are always top notch. Steve takes care of all the accommodations and they were excellent as usual. If you are thinking about one of these tours do not hesitate to jump on board, you will not be disappointed. 









I was happy to have the opportunity to finally take the Rose Parade and Cabo off my Bucket List. It would have been nice to know we were being provided rain ponchos and no tees. I found Pastor’s devotions v interesting. Unfortunately, they were at the same time the ship had game time.  The ship was too big for my likes. I would liked less bus time, but I did like staying at one lodging. Embassy Suites were great.  I was disappointed not to see the Getty and Joshua even though I’ve been to both. Escondido and CLHS were nice inclusions. Overall, a great value for the cost. 

We went to lots of great new places, met alot of nice people and ate too much good  food. 
Wished we had more time to spend at some of the places, it would have been nice to see more, it felt like we missed  out on seeing everything. 
Overall it was a great  trip. 

We loved everything about this well planned land and sea trip with Father’s World Tours! Every detail was worked out ahead of time for every situation. Steve was so much fun and thought of our every need. Accommodations and meals were great. I want to go again!!

Excellent Trip!  Expertly planned out; Off the charts knowledge of each and every location visited.  Steve is Outstanding in every aspect of logistics and ensuring everyone was completely aware of travel itinerary, comfortable, and acquired the highest level of satisfaction, fun, and fellowship. We had a great time with wonderful fellow travelers. We enjoyed the cruise and also our bus trips and nightly accommodations. Highlights for us were the Reagan library and Rose Bowl floatfest. Thanks for the daily devotions.

We enjoyed the packed, yet flexible schedule of events, both on land and at sea. The only downside was the rain on the first days on CA. 

Phantom at the Orpheum

This was a delightful trip! Comfortable seating and great accommodations.

Nice to not have to drive and park.  The play was wonderful!  Great seats!

Loved the organization and attention to detail that Steve Balza put into the trip! Always felt like we knew what we were doing! The trip was also very enjoyable to be at with lots of people that we knew!

Autumn in New England

It was awesome! So well planned, perfectly timed itineraries, wonderful camaraderie, comfortable accommodations, excellent meal choices/provisions.  Thank you Steve. Can't wait till the next one.

We had a wonderful time and great accommodations. Tour guide very knowledgeable. 

Steve nailed it! Sharing our days with old and new Christian friends was special. Starting our days with God’s Word set the tone for our explorations. The state motto theme and hymns tied them all together. We saw fall colors and lots of incredible nature sites in New England. We learned about/explored historical places as well. The hotel accommodations were comfortable and complementary breakfasts were appreciated. Steve planned many delicious lunches and fabulous dinner meals- lobster in Maine doesn’t get much better! All in all, we thoroughly enjoyed our time in New England thanks to Father’s World Tours! 

I loved it from beginning to end. The leaders were fun, thoughtful, anticipated our every need, and smart about the places we visited. They always gave us ample time at sites and understood our interest in learning but also enjoying having time to peruse the gift shops. I knew none of my fellow travelers at all (though connections abounded), but by the end, I felt I had made 12 new friends. Thank you so much! 

MN Wildlife & Waterfalls

Wow, weather could have been a negative factor but every scheduled event brought fun, good fellowship and sights of beauty, nature's amazing qualities and reminders that God's creation is to be enjoyed.

I have always had on my bucket list a visit to Branson.  I loved the David at the Sight and Sound Theater and the opportunity to worship in the glass chapel.  Steve runs a tight ship so we make use of every minute.  A great weekend trip!

Weekend in the Ozarks

We had a good time.. good fellowship and food and devotion

The Ozark trip was a fantastic experience filled with memorable shows and scenic sights. The weekend was thoughtfully planned, offering a great mix of activities, relaxing rest stops, and enjoyable food along the way. Everything was well-organized, making it a fun and smooth journey from start to finish.  Thanks to our van drivers who made the trip even more enjoyable. 

Thoroughly enjoyable trip!  Did a lot in a short period of time

Great trip/tour.  Leaders and guides were very knowledgeable about areas we toured.   All was very organized, especially box lunches, and pies.    Food and restaurant choices were great.  Fun group to socialize with.  
A little more hiking would have been nice, but the weather didn't always cooperate.  However, the group leaders came up with great alternative sights and places to see.

Extraordinary Waterfall & Wildlife tour.  Beautiful sights along Lake Superior as well & very nice hotel accommodations. 

The trip was very well organized and we had 3 professors with us all the time to teach and guide us through both countries.  Steve bends over backwards making sure everyone is there and provides us with tour guides.  A wonderful way to see the world.  We had devotions every day and were able to personalize our visit by going to our mission church.  An excellent trip!!

I See London, I See France

All we had to do was show up and follow Steve. Everything was well planned for the pace of the group. We saw many beautiful places and things, heard beautiful music, had historical presentations on the way to prepare us for what we would experience, and had some free time to explore and wander.
Morning devotion started each day right.
Everyone was friendly and we loved every minute of it.

Well planned Christian tour of England and France.  Time for each event was calculated almost to the minute.  The hotel accomodations were as well as can be expected in the areas we were.  Booklets that came with the tour had much information that can still be used after we come home.  Plus the booklets will help with the pictures that were taken 

We had a great time. All of our connections, ticket, and timed entrances were pre-arranged. Besides seeing all of the tourist sites along the way, we joined in worship at our WELS mission in England. Our tour guides filled us in with great background information. We only had 3 different lodging locations for our 18 day trip. I appreciated that because we were packing up only a few times. Each hotel provided a breakfast spread that was delicious. It was nice to have most of our supper meals on our own. This gave us a chance to explore the communities and culture and relax. I look forward to choosing my next Father's World Tours trip!

This was a wonderful trip for us. It was well done with great places to visit. The daily devotions on the bus were a true treasure. Our sincere thanks to the leaders for all of work.

Outstanding! Excellent pacing of the trip. Good balance between seeing the many, many historical and scenic sites and having time to explore on your own. Steve obviously cares deeply for those who participate on his tours. Highly recommend for an excellent blend of sightseeing and Christian fellowship.

Would do additional tours with FWT in a heartbeat.

Traveling with fellow Christians to see the wonders of God’s world is special. Steve arranges everything and takes good care of us! He has historical experts to give us background information about the places we visit, and we hear God’s world daily! We stay in lovely hotels with daily breakfasts. We can’t wait for our next trip with Father’s World Tracel! 

We had a great time. The itinerary was well thought out but could be flexible depending on the particular circumstances. The accommodations were excellent to the point of even having breakfast included every day. We met some new people along the way and got reacquainted with some folks we had met previously. The places that we visited were historic, iconic to the area, and moving - all in all unforgettable.  It was challenging to dine on our own in France, but we persevered and had some delicious meals and some great wine! Good times, good food, good people...a good trip!!

Christian based travel.  Well organized & planned.  Took all the stress off the travelers.    We saw far more sites than we could have if we planned this on our own.  It included all  entrance fees for tours and breakfast was included daily.  I would recommend this tour highly.

It shows no signs of slowing down. &nbsp;&nbsp;There’s literally something for everyone in Les Misérables. It’s an epic musical about passion, destruction, revenge, poverty and hope all set against the French revolution. It’s a relatable story about redemption and survival coupled with a goosebump-inducing score. With some of the most well-known, memorable and loved songs in musical history – including “I Dreamed A Dream”, “On My Own”, “Do You Hear The People Sing?” and “One Day More”&nbsp; Set in 19th century France, Les Misérables follows the life of Jean Valjean – an ex-convict who seeks redemption despite being hunted for decades by his rival and ex-guard Javert after breaking parole. In his quest for absolution, Jean Valjean agrees to take care of Cosette – the daughter of tragic factory worker Fantine – changing his life forever. The pair travel across France avoiding the wrath of Javert until they find themselves in Paris during the French revolution. Despite the social and political struggle, there is love, passion and courage to be found. But dreams can be broken and adoration unrequited. So how will it end for these poor souls?&nbsp; Run time: 2 hours and 55 minutes, including one intermission. Recommended for ages 10 and up. This production contains the use of strobe lights, haze, fog, open flame and blank-firing guns.&nbsp;

About the Show

Your purchase is non-refundable, but transferable. Approximately 2-3 weeks before the show, our intent is to mail (via USPS) tickets to all adult purchasers and to put MLC student tickets into the student mailboxes. Students may sell or give theirs to another MLC student. Others may sell or give their spot to another WELS/ELS member. Please advise steve@fathersworldtours.com of any such transfers (including new attendee full name, email address, address, and cell) so we know who should be on our "Roll Call/Check In List".&nbsp;

SOLD OUT. Available to WELS members of any age. These "up close and personal" seats come in pairs of two ($100 total) and are located on the very edge of Row F (6 rows from the stage). The stage is very close and your view of the edge is somewhat limited. You will be close enough to catch facial expressions, admire the costuming, etc. See the image in the gallery or Trip Overview for an approximate view. We'll ride in style, comfort, and peace as we enjoy convenient dropoff and pickup near the theatre without the hastle of driving yourself, parking, etc. The bus is equipped with air vents, armrests, reading light, restroom, etc. You can choose whether you want to start with the bus at MLC in New Ulm, Trinity Lutheran Church in Nicollet, or at Arby's in St Peter.
